Join Clarkson University as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Physical Therapy (Part
- Time). The Physical Therapy Department in the Lewis School of Health Sciences invites applicants for a part-time core faculty position.
The successful candidate will teach graduate physical therapy, mentor graduate student capstone projects, advise students, and participate in departmental activities. A doctorate or equivalent degree in physical therapy and qualification to teach clinical courses are required.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach clinical and didactic DPT courses
- Supervise student research projects
- Advise students
- Participate in departmental activities and service duties
- Contribute to course and programmatic outcomes assessment and continuous curricular improvement
- Contribute to institutional and professional service
Minimal
Qualifications:
- Possess a DPT degree and an APTA board certified clinical specialization
- Be eligible for New York state PT licensure
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
Preferred Qualifications:
- PT degree and an academic doctoral degree
- 3 years of clinical teaching experience
- Strong evidence of excellence in teaching at the graduate level
