GED Examiner​/Proctor

Duties:
Currently seeking 1-2 qualified individuals to serve as examiners for the GED exam. Exams are offered once per month over a 3-day period, with additional private accommodation tests and other tests sporadically scheduled. Person(s) chosen will be required to complete computer-based Pearson Vue training, and a New York State webinar for new examiners. Duties include proctoring computer-based GED exams at the Utica ACCESS Site, and other sites as needed.

This includes assisting with checking students in for the exam, monitoring the testing room during the exam, and following all Pearson Vue, GEDTS, and NYSED policies and procedures for the duration of the exam.

Qualifications:

B achelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university and experience in teaching, training, counseling or testing.

Utica ACCESS Site, 508 2nd St, Utica;
Other locations as needed

Term of Employment:
As needed, approximately 2-5 days per month
