SUMMARY

SUNY Brockport is accepting applications for part-time adjunct faculty openings in the Department of Dance.

JOB FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions: Teach dance studio or lecture courses as assigned by the chair and scheduled by the university. Grading, assessment, student feedback during class instruction. Minimal availability for student interaction outside of class.

Non
- Essential Functions:

Regular conversation with the chair. Maintaining and responding to university and department operations as outlined in the department, campus, union, SUNY, and State of NY guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in dance or a related field from an accredited U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized institution, or commensurate experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Fine Arts degree or Doctorate in Dance or a related field from an accredited U.S. Department of Education or internationally recognized institution
  • Significant teaching experience

Work Schedule:

Variable

Salary and Benefits:
Semester stipend $4,500 per 3-credit course or 3-credit course equivalent. May be benefits eligible. Find out more about benefits at Careers@Brockport.
