Position: Probationary Spanish Teacher, 7-12

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Probationary Spanish Teacher, 7-12. The successful candidate will need to:

Demonstrate fluent understanding of NYS Learning Standards;

Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in Spanish;

Maintain a recovery mindset;

Demonstrate an understanding of differentiated and blended learning;

Effectively manage students, projects, and schedules in a high-paced environment;

Build positive rapport with students and parents;

Work with different learning styles and needs;

Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills;

Collaborate effectively with colleagues as part of a team;

Commit to professional growth and a growth mindset.

Minimum requirements include:

Completion of a NYS Registered Program – Spanish 7-12
Institutional Recommendation – Spanish 7-12
New York State Teacher Certification Exam – Educating All Students Test (EAS)
Content Specialty Test (CST) – Spanish
edTPA – World Language
Workshop – Dignity For All Students Act
Fingerprint Clearance
