Job Description:
Periodically, adjunct teaching positions become available in the Architecture & Construction Management department. The following courses in drafting and visualization are part of the Architectural Engineering Technology and Construction Management Engineering Technology programs:
- ARC 101 - Introduction to Architecture and Construction (manual and computer-aided drafting)
- ARC 111 - Graphics I (manual drafting)
- ARC 121 - Graphics II (computer-aided drafting)
- ARC 123 - Graphics III (computer-aided visualization and rendering)
Please submit your resume if you would be interested in teaching any of the above courses. In your cover letter, please include which of these courses you've already taught, are interested in teaching, or could teach if asked to do so. Please indicate if you are available to teach in the day, evening, or both. You will be called when a position becomes available.
Well qualified candidates will have experience in some or all of the following:
- Course specific knowledge to teach in accordance with course learning objectives and student learning outcomes.
- Manual Drafting - orthographic projection, perspective drawing, axonometric views, 2-D and 3-D projections.
- Computer-Aided Drafting - Autodesk Suite, including AutoCAD or Revit or Inventor
- Computer-Aided Visualization - Revit or Rhino or Lumion or BIM

Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- B. Arch. (5 year), or
- M. Arch., or
- BS Arch.
and
MS in related field, or - BS in related field with graphics/drafting experience.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of professional work experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
