St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Miramar (Broward County), Florida has an opening for a Interim Science Teacher for immediate hire. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school science (grades 5-8), while integrating technology and incorporating project-based learning. This candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or Educational Science.
• Florida Teacher Certification is required, temporary or professional.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching Middle School and/or High School science preferred.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Strong presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google (Docs, Drive, and Sheets)
