St. Bartholomew Catholic School in Miramar, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced full-time Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school math and science for grades 6-8. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.

• Bachelor’s degree in Math/Science Education or related field required, master’s degree preferred.
• Florida Department of Education Teacher certificate in Mathematics/Science 5-9; temporary or professional required.
• Must be knowledgeable in all levels of middle school math and science.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent classroom management and program organizational skills, excellent attendance ethics, and high level of professionalism.
• Proficiency is needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Database, Spreadsheet management, and digital grade books.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
