Breast Surgery Staten Island University Hospital - Northwell Health

Northwell Health is seeking a full‑time fellowship‑trained board eligible/certified Breast Surgeon to join our growing multidisciplinary program. The qualified candidate will join a team of breast surgeons, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners at Staten Island University Hospital (SIUH).

This candidate will work as a clinician in a supportive environment with an experienced Breast Surgeon and many Reconstructive Plastic Surgeons H offers the full spectrum of oncologic and reconstructive breast surgery. This is a wonderful opportunity to be professionally challenged and grow within a desirable practice in a leading healthcare system.

SIUH is a 714‑bed teaching hospital that spans two campuses and provides a vast array of services in health and wellness. Our 17‑acre North campus houses Staten Island’s most modern emergency department, with 36 ICU beds, a state‑of‑the‑art education center and a medical arts pavilion. Our South campus boasts its own emergency department and offers a range of specialty programs, including geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.

The Department of Surgery at SIUH consists of 40 full‑time and 6 part‑time physicians spanning the surgical disciplines of general vascular, breast, colorectal, bariatric, minimally invasive, hernia, trauma, plastics, pediatrics, podiatry, and orthopedics. SIUH is supported by a residency program composed of 27 surgical residents.
