Weill Cornell Medicine and New York Presbyterian Hospital are seeking an academically oriented board-certified/board-eligible hematologist-oncologist to join the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at New York Presbyterian/Queens
.
The candidate will join the Weill Cornell Medicine faculty and a rapidly expanding hematology-oncology program that services Queens. Responsibilities include caring for patients in an outpatient practice for non-malignant hematology and hematologic malignancies, collaborating with leaders in academic medicine at the Upper East Side to enhance the program in Queens, and engaging in clinical research with an emphasis on myeloma and other blood disorders.
Participation in research activities at the Meyer Cancer Center is required and will be supported.
The division is located in Flushing, New York, a 535-bed tertiary care center that is an ACS Level 1 trauma center and an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College
. The center serves over two million residents in Queens and offers a full range of services for cancer, cardiovascular disease, neurological disorders, and digestive conditions.
- Provide outpatient care to patients with non-malignant hematology and hematologic malignancies.
- Collaborate with academic leaders and clinicians to expand the hematology program in Queens.
- Participate in clinical and translational research, especially in myeloma and other blood disorders.
- Support research activities of the Meyer Cancer Center.
- Contribute to faculty teaching and mentorship within the Weill Cornell Medicine program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible hematologist-oncologist with a strong academic orientation.
- Experience in outpatient hematology and oncology practice, with comfort managing both non-malignant and malignant conditions.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical research and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered care approach.
Base pay range: $-$ per year. Faculty rank is commensurate with experience. This range excludes benefits and incentive payments related to quality measures and productivity.
