Director, Plastic Surgery – South Shore University Hospital – Northwell Health

Northwell Health is seeking a full‑time Director of Plastic Surgery with experience and/or fellowship training in plastic surgery. The candidate should have 5–8 years of experience and microvascular training. This is a unique opportunity to join a premiere Northwell Health Plastic Surgery practice, focused on hospital‑based plastic surgery and breast reconstruction. The qualified candidate will work in a supportive environment with experienced plastic surgery colleagues, physician assistants, and residents.

Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of clinical experience in plastic surgery with microvascular training.
  • Strong commitment to medical student and resident education.
  • Interest in translational and/or clinical research is desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Lead hospital‑based plastic surgery and breast reconstruction services.
  • Work collaboratively with plastic surgery colleagues, physician assistants, and residents.
  • Engage in teaching, mentorship, and academic activities.
