The Center for Wise Mind Living is currently seeking a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist (Independent Contractor) to join our growing team.
Located in Midtown Manhattan, CWML is a CBT/DBT-oriented psychotherapy and psychiatry center dedicated to providing strengths-based, results-oriented care. We specialize in helping children, adolescents, young adults, and adults navigate depression, anxiety, panic, social anxiety, OCD, BPD, relationship difficulties, and self-destructive behaviors using state-of-the-art, evidence-based treatment.

Our Ideal Applicant- Board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults
- Licensed and authorized to practice in New York (New Jersey license a plus)
- Passionate about providing high-quality care to high-functioning clients in a supportive, respectful, and collaborative manner
- Motivated to stay current with the latest research and evidence-based psychiatric treatments
- Interested in joining a collegial clinical community and participating in weekly consultation and mentorship meetings (in person and/or via video)
- Excited to grow with the practice as it evolves and expands, with openness to mentoring early-career psychiatrists and clinicians over time
- Independent contractor (1099) role with significant clinical autonomy
- Collaboration and mentorship with a seasoned psychiatrist and multidisciplinary team
- A dynamic, collegial environment that values learning, consultation, and thoughtful care
- Administrative and operational support, including scheduling, billing, and practice infrastructure, allowing you to focus on clinical work
- Flexible scheduling, including the option to work remotely part-time
- Quiet, comfortable office space within a shared suite of clinicians in Midtown Manhattan
- Compensation: fee-for-service model with a salary range, based on desired number of hours/week, $150,000-$375,000
- Optional access to a group health insurance plan, with premiums paid using pre-tax dollars
