Plainview Hospital - Northwell Health
Northwell Health in conjunction with Plainview Hospital is seeking a full-time Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon to join the faculty. The ideal candidate would possess excellent clinical and technical skills and take a collaborative approach to patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled vascular surgeon with 3-4 years of experience, with strong leadership qualities, to bring their vision and energy to the development of a growing vascular practice.
Responsibilities- Provide in- and out-patient care for a wide array of vascular surgery patients and participate in the full spectrum of elective and emergency vascular procedures.
- Contribute to the expansion of vascular surgical services and demonstrate excellent surgical skills, clinical judgment, and a passion for patient care.
- Join a division looking for a board-eligible/certified vascular surgeon to contribute to program growth.
Plainview Hospital is an acute care community hospital with 120 beds that treats patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and gynecological conditions. It has a same-day surgery program and is the site of one of the Don Monti Cancer Centers. The hospital was recently recognized by the Joint Commission for achieving excellence in performance on its accountability measures for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care.
