Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an Emergency Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx.
Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

• Practice at a high-acuity, high-volume ACS Level 1 Trauma Center, Stroke Center, Burn Center, and STEMI/PCI center.

• Affiliated with the AECOM, Jacobi Emergency Medicine is a main teaching site for one of the premiere Emergency Medicine residency training programs in the country, with 84 total Emergency Medicine residents over 4 years.
• Jacobi Emergency Medicine is responsible for running Jacobi’s regional snake‑bite center and a multi‑person hyperbaric treatment facility that treat elective and emergency cases.
• The Department has active programs in ultrasound, simulation, hyperbaric, toxicology / addiction care, public health & advocacy, global health, education, and research. The Department is looking to recruit faculty with these subspecialty niches and others.
• Successful candidates will be highly committed to excellence in patient care, education, and promoting scholarship to enhance the mission of the Department.
