PAGNY is adding a Physician Assistant – Medicine to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Metropolitan, a full-service community hospital that provides state‑of‑the‑art care and leading‑edge technology. The hospital serves patients from all five New York City boroughs and maintains a strong academic affiliation with New York Medical College.

Daytime schedule. Elicits and performs a detailed and accurate history and appropriate physical examination. Monitors and adjusts immunosuppressive medications. Observes and records patient progress, updates charts, writes orders and progress notes, and notifies Attending Physicians of changes when appropriate. Performs BLS and ACLS procedures in life‑threatening situations when an attending physician is unavailable and with the physician when appropriate.

• Physician Assistant certification/license issued by the NCCPA
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
• Must be ACLS/BLS certified

Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on a 40‑hour work week.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $144,239 – $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below.

• 401(k) Company Contribution: immediately vested 3% of base earnings. After one year, an additional 7% is contributed.
