Opportunity Details- Diagnose and manage a wide range of GI conditions, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests and prescribing necessary treatments.
- Perform GI procedures, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other advanced endoscopic interventions as credentialed.
- Provide patient counseling on disease management, nutrition, and follow-up care, and coordinate referrals to specialists or dietitians as appropriate.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; supervise and teach fellows, residents, and other staff; and participate in research and quality‑improvement activities.
- Adhere to all departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards—including HIPAA—and contribute to administrative functions as assigned by leadership.
- Completion of Fellowship Training Program in Gastroenterology
- Expertise in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Proficiency in X-rays, MRIs, and ultrasound scanning
- Current licensed NY State registration (or the ability to obtain one)
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $400,000
* based on 40‑hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $530,520**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520**
Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
