Overview
New York University Grossman School of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, is searching for an ophthalmologist to join the full‑time faculty. The appointee will provide patient care in neuro‑ophthalmology and will engage in resident teaching, trainee supervision, and scholarly activity. The academic rank and compensation, including a generous fringe benefits package, are dependent upon the applicant’s contributions to patient care, medical education, and scholarship.
The position is part of a vibrant, diverse, and distinguished community of faculty colleagues and learners at New York University Grossman School of Medicine and its affiliates.
- Patient care in neuro‑ophthalmology
- Resident teaching and supervision of trainees and students
- Scholarly activity
- Medical doctorate or equivalent
- Medical licensure in the State of New York (or eligibility)
- Board certified or eligible in ophthalmology
- Completed an ACGME‑approved ophthalmology residency or equivalent
- Completed an AUPO‑FCC compliant fellowship in neuro‑ophthalmology or demonstrated comparable experience
Preferred start date: on or before 9/1/2026.
CompensationMinimum salary: $300,000 per year. NYULH provides a generous suite of faculty benefits.
