Emergency Medicine Physician, Healthcare Consultant
The Department of Radiology at New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers—The State University of New Jersey—is recruiting a full‑time Emergency Radiologist. The successful applicant will be fellowship trained in Emergency Radiology, abdominal/body imaging, neuroradiology, or have demonstrated experience in Emergency Radiology. Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and be eligible for or hold A certification in Diagnostic Radiology. A J‑1 waiver sponsorship is available.
ResponsibilitiesCover overnight emergency radiology shifts from 10:30 pm to 7:30 am on a 1‑week on/2‑week off equivalent schedule (total 121–122 shifts per year). Work alongside a resident to interpret emergency CT, ultrasound, and radiographs. Shifts may be performed on‑site or remotely.
Qualifications & ExperienceAssistant Professor level or higher; new graduates are also encouraged to apply. Fellowship training in Emergency Radiology, abdominal/body imaging, or neuroradiology, or equivalent experience. M.D. or D.O. degree. A eligible or certified in Diagnostic Radiology. J‑1 waiver candidates and new graduates with an interest in education are encouraged to apply.
