Department of Pediatrics at New York-Presbyterian/Queens is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Pediatrician to join our team in Flushing, Queens at the Theresa Lang Children’s Center.
The Theresa Lang Children’s Center is an academic, hospital based, multi‑specialty, comprehensive pediatric care center serving the Queens community and beyond, caring for children ages 0‑21. It is one of two continuity clinic training sites for the NYP‑Weill Cornell Pediatric Residency Program and participates in the Weill Cornell Medical School student clerkship in Pediatrics.
Responsibilities- Precept residents and teach medical students in clinic.
- Provide direct patient care of your own patient panel without resident involvement.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Cover some weekend and evening shifts; additional language proficiency is a plus.
New York-Presbyterian/Queens is a 535‑bed tertiary facility serving residents throughout Queens and beyond, located in Flushing and affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College and Komansky Children’s Hospital/NYP.
Salary range is $200k to $240k; compensation does not include benefits or incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity.
The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
