Join a high-volume, collaborative surgical team in West Islip offering extensive operating room exposure
, strong surgeon mentorship, and a supportive APP environment. This role is ideal for a surgical PA seeking hands-on OR experience with continuity of care in the outpatient setting.

• 80% dedicated OR time with first-assist opportunities

The PA will collaborate with all surgeons
, supporting their patients throughout the perioperative continuum.

This role is primarily focused on operating room support (~80%), with the remaining 20% dedicated to outpatient care
, including pre-operative evaluations, post-operative follow-ups, and patient education. The PA will work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and office personnel to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.

• First assist in the operating room
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Conduct outpatient visits and surgical follow-ups
• Perform minor procedures and wound care as delegated
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to support patient flow
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

• Full-time, 5 days schedule

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Current New York State Physician Assistant licensure.
• Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Previous surgical experience or a strong interest in surgery preferred.
• BLS and ACLS required – from AHA

Salary Range
USD $69.54 - USD $93.00 /Hr.
