Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our staff. Visa Sponsorship Available.

The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. More than 500 full-time salaried physicians and advanced practice clinicians who focus on patient centered care.

Job Description & Responsibilities

• Join an established group of Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians
• Traditional outpatient practice, Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM
• No OB
• Generative AI Scribes offered to all Primary Care Physicians to help decrease time and stress associated with notes
• Innovative Inbasket Ninja Program in place for Primary Care that covers inbaskets of any departed providers or providers on leave or vacation
• Fully integrated EPIC Electronic Medical Record
• A first call system is in place with a nurse practitioner/physician assistant on call for your patients.
• Salary Range: $320,000 $ 347,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
• Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment
• Residency stipend up to $45,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation
• Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000
• Loan Repayment may be available through Federal and State Loan Repayment Programs

Job Qualifications

• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Eligible or Board Certified
• NYS Licensure
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required
