Overview

Northwell Health’s Department of Neurology is seeking a BC/BE Stroke Neuro-hospitalist to join our expanding multi-disciplinary team at North Shore University & Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Long Island, NY.

North Shore University Hospital
, located in Manhasset, New York, is an 812-bed academic qua ternary care center and ACS certified Level I trauma center which provides immediate state-of-the-art care to all patients. As US News & World’s Top Hospital on Long Island, we provide comprehensive, patient-centered and sophisticated medical care with an emphasis on advanced cardiac, neurosurgical, and transplant services.

Long Island Jewish Medical Center is a 583-bed teaching hospital located in New Hyde Park, New York that is academically affiliated with the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. LIJ Medical Center is one of three major components of a 48-acre campus, which includes Cohen’s Children Medical Center and Zucker Hillside Hospital. Our primary focus is on the complete care of the patient, with a healing environment, compassionate hospitality, and a collaborative team approach to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
