Overview
Northwell Health Cancer Institute is seeking a board eligible/board certified Hematologist with experience and practice focus in Adult Sickle Cell disease to join the Northwell Health Cancer Institute Rego Park in Queens, NY. The Sickle Cell specialist will be an integral part of Northwell’s adult Hematology division with research and teaching opportunities for fellows, residents, and medical students.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with sickle cell disease as part of the Cancer Institute Rego Park team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team and specialists; participate in clinics and treatment planning.
- Engage in research and teaching opportunities with fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Participate in program development and patient-centered care initiatives.
- Board eligible or board certified in Hematology.
- Experience and practice focus in adult sickle cell disease.
