Overview

The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian is seeking a full-time faculty member to join our growing Division of Abdominal Imaging. Join a dynamic team at one of the top clinical, research, and teaching institutions in the country and enjoy the flexibility to work near where you live.

Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience. Salary range starts at $435,000 (for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship). Our radiology department offers several on-site locations to work from, extending from northern Westchester to New York City, along hybrid work options.

Our ideal candidate has experience in interpretation of all imaging modalities. We value skilled communicators, as our body imaging faculty collaborate closely with world-class clinical teams to provide comprehensive care to our patients. The abdominal division consists of 16 faculty members with a wide range of subspecialty expertise and interests. We participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of excellent radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows, engage in numerous research projects to advance the field, and hold leadership positions in local and national radiology societies.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to provide comprehensive care to patients in abdominal imaging.
  • Participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of radiology residents and abdominal imaging fellows.
  • Engage in numerous research projects to advance the field of radiology.
  • Hold leadership positions in local and national radiology societies as appropriate.
Qualifications

Position requires M.D. or D.O. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York. Training and experience in body imaging required.
