Responsibilities

Provide consultations for patients in the Endocrinology/Metabolic Bone clinical practice

Serve on departmental and/or institutional committees at the direction of the Service Chief

Participate in teaching and academic duties within the Division, including monthly academic conferences for the Endocrinology/Metabolic Bone Service, and precepting the Metabolic Bone and Endocrinology Fellows to provide oversight, support, teaching, and mentorship

Support the Endocrinology/Metabolic Bone Service leadership in clinical program development and other service offerings to patients, the community, and in support of HSS’ tri-state growth strategy

Share on-call duties, inpatient consult service, and other responsibilities as directed by the Chief of the Division

Contribute to local, regional, national, and international meetings and societies in support of the Department’s and HSS’ international recognition

Minimum Qualifications

MD or DO required
Current Board Certification in Endocrinology
Active medical license in NY

Preferred

Active tristate (CT, NJ, PA) and Florida licenses
