Opportunity Details:

• Time will be split between Safety Net clinic and SHOW van which provides mobile medical services within the community.
• Safety net clinic operates within Lincoln Hospital providing comprehensive care with interdisciplinary team for individuals with complex medical and mental health needs experiencing homelessness.
• SHOW van is a mobile medical unit providing medical, mental health and concrete services within the community.
• Physicians will care for patients with substance use disorders through a harm reduction lens.

• Board Certified or Eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
• Licensed to practice in NY.
• Able to work independently without in-person supervision.
• Prior experience caring for patients experiencing homelessness, chronic mental illness and substance use disorders strongly preferred.
• HIV/HCV experience preferred.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $236,000* (board eligible); $241,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $355,120** (board eligible) and $360,620** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
• Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO):
  Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
• Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage:
  Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.

  Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.

• Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based):
  Provided at no cost to the employee.

• Visa sponsorship will be considered for this position.
