Job Summary:
- Perform all functions of an attending Emergency Medicine Physician in all areas of the Emergency Department (Main, Fast Track, Pediatrics); this includes:
- Medical management
- Utilization of appropriate consultations
- Timely patient dispositions while appropriately supervising resident physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
- Create timely and accurate medical records communicating the care rendered and decision making process
- Collaborative and collegial work that adheres to the highest professional standards
Required Qualifications:
- MD Degree.
- New York State Medical Licensure.
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible if Residency was completed within the prior 5-years.
- If Board Certified, must maintain PALS certification.
- If Board Eligible, must maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
