Job Summary:

• Perform all functions of an attending Emergency Medicine Physician in all areas of the Emergency Department (Main, Fast Track, Pediatrics); this includes:
  • Medical management
  • Utilization of appropriate consultations
  • Timely patient dispositions while appropriately supervising resident physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
  • Create timely and accurate medical records communicating the care rendered and decision making process
  • Collaborative and collegial work that adheres to the highest professional standards

Required Qualifications:

• MD Degree.
• New York State Medical Licensure.
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Board Eligible if Residency was completed within the prior 5-years.
• If Board Certified, must maintain PALS certification.
• If Board Eligible, must maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
