About the PositionLocum Jobs Online is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified General Surgery PA in New York! We are seeking a Surgery Physician Assistant with experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins on Mar 2, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule with day and night 12‑hour shifts, as well as optional weekend coverage.
Candidates should be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, have strong transvaginal ultrasound skills, and demonstrate experience in GYN cases.

- Provider Type Needed:
Surgery - General Physician Assistant - Schedule:
Day shift 8a-8p (12 hrs), Night shift 8p-8a (12 hrs), Weekend 8a-8a (24 hrs; 8‑ or 12‑hr shifts also acceptable)
- Perform clinical duties in Obstetrics and Gynecology under attending supervision
- Conduct GYN case management and procedures
- Utilize transvaginal ultrasound skills in patient care
- Collaborate with attending physicians for backup support
- Adhere to established protocols and standards of care
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- New York state license required
- Weekend call is not mandatory
- Privileges may be granted within 6 weeks
