Ob​/Gyn; Generalist​/Queens

New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Ob/Gyn Physician with an interest in an academic role as a General Ob/Gyn to join a new practice in Fresh Meadows, Queens. This position involves providing comprehensive Ob/Gyn care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

New York-Presbyterian Queens, located in Flushing, NY, is a community teaching hospital serving a diverse population in Queens and the greater New York area. The 535-bed tertiary hospital is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and has been serving the community since 1957. The hospital offers extensive services including 24/7 obstetric coverage, 9 labor and delivery rooms, three OB operating rooms, a modern postpartum floor, and 19 surgical rooms (one with robotic capability).

The team comprises 21 PAs, experienced nurses, and Weill Cornell Ob/Gyn residents, who spend about 30% of their training at this facility.

Queens, known for Flushing Meadows Park, hosts the NY Mets and the US Open Tennis Tournament. It is one of the most ethnically diverse areas in the world, offering a variety of cuisines and cultural attractions such as Socrates Sculpture Park, Queens Botanical Garden, and Rockaway Beach.

The salary range for this role is $280,000 to $400,000, excluding benefits and potential incentive payments based on quality and productivity metrics.

The chosen candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience and credentials.
