Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist-ER to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals System / South Brooklyn Health
. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state‑of‑the‑art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services—from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults—all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually.

The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards and to provide its staff with teaching and research opportunities and the chance to work with medical students, residents and fellows very closely. Our behavioral health center provides both inpatient and outpatient treatment for behavioral health needs.

Psychiatrist-ER will have responsibility for clinical and educational activities in the Emergency Room Division, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team.

• Participate in activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement regulatory compliance and student education.
• Report to the Director of the Psychiatric Emergency Room and the Department of Behavioral Health Chairperson.
• They will also participate in our innovative integrative care activities.
• Flexible schedules:
  Weekdays, Weeknights, or Weekends.
