About the Program:

The Northwell Health Cognitive Neurology Center, part of the Northwell Health Neuroscience Institute, offers comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of various cognitive disorders across the Northwell network.

Northwell's investment in the development of the new Center for Healthy Aging and the Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center signals a strong commitment to expanding its cognitive neurology program. The anticipated growth underscores the increasing need for specialized cognitive care, particularly given the aging population and the interconnectedness of cognitive health with other age-related conditions. With projected growth of 7, annual ambulatory visits for cognitive diagnosis in the next 5-10 years, based on SG2 data, you’ll be at the forefront of an expanding field.

We have also established at Glen Cove Hospital in Long Island a unique, dedicated, and specialized 12-bed Parkinson's and movement disorders inpatient unit, which offers advanced rehabilitation services and medical and surgical optimization to patients with more advanced disease and is integrated with the DBS program for post-surgical programming combined with intense rehabilitation and medication optimization. The program has recently received Joint Commission certification, and it has affirmed itself as the leading inpatient program in the US.

About the Role:
