The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Northwell Health and The Zucker School of Medicine seeks a dynamic Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join the Women’s Health Division at Staten Island University Hospital (Staten Island, NY).

Candidates will lead the expansion of the MFM division. There are currently two full time MFM physicians, four sonographers, and a full clinical complimentary staff. The division offers a diverse work environment including office and hospital consultation, high-risk pregnancy management, routine and high-resolution ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and antepartum testing. Candidates must exhibit a passion for excellence and achievement, strong innovation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to academic medicine and patient care as well as fellow, resident and medical student education. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist.

We are a strong academic section in a tertiary care referral network with a busy ultrasound unit and high risk practice serving a diverse population. Staten Island University Hospital performs approximately 3,000 deliveries a year and has excellent perinatal quality measures including low C-section rates and low maternal morbidity. We have a level 3 nursery with a superb neonatology service.
