Rheumatologist – Essen Health Care

Join the growing specialty team in the Bronx. We provide outpatient consultative and longitudinal care for patients with complex rheumatologic conditions in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary environment.

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with autoimmune and musculoskeletal diseases.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Rheumatology fellowship.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Active New York State medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to patient‑centered care.
