Position: Open Rank: Assistant/Associate/Professor of Dermatology
Location: New York

The Department of Dermatology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites applicants for a full-time faculty position, with a predominant focus on clinical dermatology, to join our Columbia Doctors locations. Our department offers several on-site locations to work from, extending from midtown Manhattan in New York City to Westchester. Areas of practice may include general, complex medical, skin of color, surgical, and/or cosmetic dermatology.

Rank will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Successful candidates will be joining a program with a national reputation for research, patient care, and teaching. Candidates must be eligible for or certified by the American Board of Dermatology and have an excellent record of clinical, educational, and/or research activity. Candidates must have a New York State medical license and DEA license prior to appointment.

Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience.

The hiring salary range for base salary is $364,000 – $395,664 (excluding bonus). The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.

Minimum Degree

Required:
  • Doctor in Medicine
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Board certified or eligible
  • New York State Medical License
  • Fellowship training in the respective subspecialty
