Position Title Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor, Department of Medicine – Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition

The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition , at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, is seeking 3 new faculty members with interest in General Gastroenterology, as qualified clinical educators for full-time positions based at ambulatory sites and major affiliated teaching hospitals. Qualified candidates will be appointed at the Clinical Assistant or Associate level.

Overall duties include:

• Serving as attending physician for inpatient and ambulatory services;
• Consultation and follow-up of patients;
• Teaching students;
• Training residents
• Supervision of fellows.
• Participation in clinical and/or translational research is encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications

• MD Degree or equivalent
• Must obtain a New York State Medical License prior to start date
• Must meet all credentialing requirements
• Eligible for Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
