Overview

Private Practice affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital, located in Washington Heights, focuses on General Gastroenterology and Hepatology, specifically IBD and Liver Disease. Supported by Gramercy Park Digestive Disease Center.

• Conduct patient encounters and provide medical care under physician supervision.
• Write orders for medications, laboratory, and diagnostic tests; interpret results for gastrointestinal and hepatology subspecialties.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to ensure quality patient care.
• Learn and perform GI motility testing, Video Capsule endoscopy, and elastography.
• Record detailed patient histories and perform comprehensive physical exams.
• Develop therapeutic plans based on data correlation.
• Ensure HIPAA‑compliant patient confidentiality.
• Provide patient instructions related to medical care.
• Educate patients on pre‑ and post‑operative care, medications, and treatment plans.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the NY State Department of Education.
• NCCPA Certification required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Graduate of an accredited ARC PA Program.
• References recommended.

Part‑time, Contract.

• Flexible schedule.

$130,000 – $165,000 yearly.
