Columbia University's Department of Medicine invites applications for a clinical faculty position based at the Milstein Campus. The candidate will serve as a member of the interventional endoscopy service and perform fundamental interventional procedures such as diagnostic and therapeutic EUS, ERCP, luminal endoscopy, and enteroscopy. Candidates should also be experienced with more advanced procedures such as POEM and other third‑space approaches to endoscopy.
The incumbent will have strong clinical and teaching qualifications. Responsibilities include direct patient care, supervision and teaching of house staff (residents and fellows) and medical students, active participation in departmental activities, and building referral relationships. The incumbent may also participate in endoscopy services at satellite locations of the NYP‑Columbia system.
MD, MD/PhD degree or equivalent and eligible to practice in the State of New York.
Minimum QualificationsBoard certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist and must be graduates of an advanced endoscopy fellowship.
