We are seeking an urban designer with a keen interest in Architecture and Cities. Must be interested in producing creative and original design and planning concepts involving ideas-driven design thinking leading to implementable solutions.
The Urban Designer will be involved in projects encompassing large scale mixed use, waterfronts, transit-oriented development, strategic planning, downtown revitalization, resiliency, and design of public realm. Work involves both plans and buildings. Requires a “collaborator” who is able to work with design and planning teams, consultants, and clients.
Primary Responsibilities- Advances designs for large-scale urban projects using 3D modeling and digital presentation, urban design diagramming, GIS based analytical analysis.
- Prepare presentations for public, private, and institutional sector clients
- Prepare and participate in stakeholder and public meetings.
- Prepare final reports including first draft of text and layout in Adobe InDesign. Responsible for primarily conceptual, and schematic design.
- Collaboration within multidisciplinary, Mult consultant design and planning teams.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture required. Degree in Urban Design a plus.
- One-three years’ experience (maximum) in Urban Design and Planning projects in the U.S. preferred.
- Experience with large-scale urban and mixed-use development and planning projects.
- High-quality three dimensional rendering
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong digital and hand graphic/diagraming to help present and explain complex design concepts.
- Verbal communications; ability to write narrative text a plus
- P roficient with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Affinity; 3D software such as Sketchup. Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper, video editing a plus.

PE has a hybrid policy that allows flexibility for our employees in managing their working days and hours to cater to their diverse needs.
Salary Range65,000 - 72,000
Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographical work location.
