Architectural Interior Designer - Luxury Residential

We are recruiting for an Architectural Designer on behalf of a boutique New York based interior design firm celebrated for its high-end residential and hospitality projects worldwide. The studio specialises in creating thoughtfully designed spaces that balance practicality with strong visual impact, forming the perfect foundation for bespoke furnishings and carefully curated interiors. They are looking for a designer who thrives on precision, attention to detail, and translating creative concepts into beautiful spaces.

In this role, the Interior Architectural Designer will collaborate closely with the design team to develop comprehensive construction documentation. Responsibilities include producing Scopes of Work, client presentations, and full construction drawings for contractor use, assembling complete drawing sets with schedules and specifications aligned with the firm’s standards, conducting site visits for surveys and construction administration, reviewing millwork and stone shop drawings, and creating presentation-quality drawings that clearly communicate design intent.

Occasional travel may be required for project oversight.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of experience in construction documentation across all project phases, with a focus on high-end residential interiors preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, along with a strong understanding of interior millwork, detailing, and the specification of materials and products relevant to architectural design.
