Location: New York
Hardman Design creates made-to-order solid hardwood furniture crafted from FSC-certified wood and produced in Europe with a focus on material integrity and careful construction.
We are seeking a Client Experience & Studio Coordinator to support client communication, showroom appointments, and studio operations while working directly with the founders. This hands-on role plays a central part in guiding clients from first inquiry through quoting, sample coordination, and final sale.
Position Details:- Start Date ASAP Full-time (up to 40 hrs/week)
- Brooklyn, NY (appointment-based showroom)
- Typically Wednesday–Saturday in showroom (based on scheduled appointments; other time may be remote)
- Two consecutive days off (typically Sunday and Monday)
- Manage client inquiries via Zendesk (email and phone)
- Ensure timely follow-up across active projects
- Assist in preparing custom quotes in collaboration with the founders
- Coordinate samples and shipments
- Host scheduled showroom consultations (in-person and virtual)
- Present upholstery, wood species, finishes, and customization options clearly and confidently
- Maintain and organize the showroom space
- Assist with furniture installation, display repositioning, and delivery coordination
- Prepare quick product photos or walkthrough videos as needed
- Support additional client-related and studio tasks as required
- Independent, organized, and detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities
- Responsive and proactive
- Professional and client-focused demeanor
- Ability to lift and move display pieces (20–30 lbs)
- Saturday availability required
- 1–3 years of client-facing or operations experience preferred
- Interest in furniture, design, or interiors a strong plus
- $50,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience
- Paid time off
