Pay: $20 - $30 hourly

• Work directly with Head of Design and Senior Designers to see projects through from inception to completion
• Assist Head of Design and Senior Designers in project management of multiple projects simultaneously
• Attend design meetings and installations with the Head of Design, and prepare meeting minutes for distribution and task lists
• Create furniture plans, elevations, RCPs, millwork drawings, custom furniture drawings, etc
• Use computer-aided drafting (CAD) and related software to produce construction documents
• Manage own timelines and priorities as part of a cross-functional team and collaboratively meet tight deadlines
• Assist with coordination for finish plans, specifications and material selections
• Build client presentations
• Utilize presentation tools including Adobe Suite and basic office software like Microsoft Office, and Keynote
• Utilize project management tools like Asana and Excel
• Research and source interior products and relevant interior finishes/materials for review
• Maintain and organize project folders with all related drawings, specs, schedules, etc
• Manage and organize FF&E library
• Assist in sourcing FF&E and assist in producing detailed FF&E specifications
• Site visits as needed
• Advise clients on interior design factors such as space planning, layout and use of furnishings or equipment, and color coordination

• Professional experience in all project phases including pre-design through construction administration.
• Working knowledge of contract interiors FF+E market including manufacturers and dealers.
• Experience documenting FF+E specifications including budget and procurement administration.
• Self-starter and resourceful to be able to perform independently and professionally under the supervision of project managers and senior design leaders.
• Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
• Team player and ability to mitigate and resolve issues.
• Ability to manage own time.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and building structures.
• Ability to work in a complex team structure.
• Professional proficiency experience using AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Archi
  
  CAD, or other 3D modeling software.
