Our client, a famous fashion brand based in NYC, is looking for an Assistant Men's Denim Designer to join their team.
Responsibilities- Assist the senior designer in design and development.
- Utilize Adobe Illustrator for sketching & CAD flats.
- Create & maintain seasonal line sheets.
- Co0nduct seasonal trend research and develop design mood boards.
- Manage assort samples and organization.
- Handle daily communication with cross functional teams.
- Create tech packs and update BOMs throughout development process in PLM.
- Work on creating denim wash comments for development and production.
- Attend all fittings & take fit comments
- Manage BOM & sketch updates post fitting responsible for BOM/sketch updates post fitting.
- Prep for meetings by organizing necessary samples and managing design boards.
- 2 years of Denim Design experience
- Relevant portfolio with examples of denim designs.
- Working knowledge of product and construction.
- Ability to conduct wash research.
- Detail oriented, good follow through.
- Proficient in PLM & Adobe Suite.
- BA Fashion Design.
