A well-established, award-winning NYC studio is looking to appoint a capable and ambitious Project Architect to join the team for large-scale projects in NYC.
Key responsibilities:
- Work in a project team in development of the aesthetic and technical design.
- The preparation of architectural design and construction documents including drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate work with consultants and manage change process.
- Develop technical aspects of the design of a project.
- Management and mentorship of junior staff.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelor or master degree in architecture.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong communication skills, articulate, graphic, organization, technical verbal and written skills.
- Excellent Revit and Rhino skills.
- Proficient with Adobe Suite;
Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design; and 3D software such as Sketchup are a plus. - Deep understanding of local building code. Zoning knowledge is a plus
