An established, design-led interior architecture studio is seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to join its growing New York team. This role is suited to a highly experienced designer with a refined aesthetic, exceptional technical fluency, and a deep understanding of the full FF&E lifecycle across high-end projects.
The studio works across luxury residential and hospitality environments, delivering highly detailed, conceptually driven interiors. This is a senior-level position requiring both creative leadership and strong production capability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead FF&E packages from concept through installation
- Develop and present design concepts, material palettes, and furnishings strategies
- Produce detailed FF&E documentation, specifications, and schedules
- Coordinate closely with interior architecture teams, consultants, and vendors
- Oversee budgeting, pricing, and procurement workflows
- Mentor and support junior designers where appropriate
- 7+ years of professional experience in high-end interiors
- Strong design sensibility with excellent material and furniture knowledge
- Advanced Revit proficiency (required)
- Advanced AutoCAD proficiency (required)
- Experience producing specifications, schedules, and detailed documentation
- Strong vendor, consultant, and client coordination skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience with in luxury residential, hospitality, or lifestyle projects
- Confident operating in fast-paced, design-driven studio environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to balance creativity with technical precision
