Oz Steel is steel fabricatior and installer. Base on Brooklyn and Staten Island.
Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Detailer located in Staten Island, NY. The Steel Detailer will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, interpreting architectural and structural drawings, and working collaboratively with engineers and architects to ensure the accuracy and constructability of designs. Additionally, the role involves creating and reviewing fabrication drawings and follow up with fabrication team.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Shop Drawings and Steel Detailing
- Experience with Steel Structures
- Ability to interpret and work with Architectural Drawings
- Strong understanding of engineering and design principles for steel structure projects
- Proficiency in CAD, Tekla or Sds other detailing software is highly advantageous
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction teams
