Location: New York
PBDW Architects, a design-oriented, award-winning mid-sized firm in New York City, seeks a full-time Intermediate Architect to join our team. Our practice spans a wide range of project types including educational, cultural, commercial, and residential and is equally distributed between new construction and design in historic contexts. Assist in conducting initialprojectresearch, site visits and/or minor surveying.
Complete design drawingsfrom SD through CAutilizing REVIT softwareunder the direction of the Project Architect and Project Manager.
Communicate and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
Preparedesignpresentation drawingsor 3D models.
Research building materials.
Assist PM or PA in project managementandconstruction administration tasks.
Interact with clients, consultants, and all team membersto meet project demands and deadlines.
Bachelor’s degreeor higher in Architecture.
1-3 years of professional experience in US Architecture firms.
Proficiency in REVIT& AutoCAD. Min. 1 yr of REVIT utilization in a professional setting is preferable.
Experience in design and construction document preparation and field observation.
The ability to work as part of team as well as independently in acollaborative,deadline-driven environment.
Englishlanguageproficiency required, both spoken and written
Legal
US work status required.

Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 annual salary dependent upon individual's experience.
