Teach Share is revolutionizing K-12 education for teachers with AI-powered curriculum creation tools. We're a fast-growing EdTech startup (surpassing revenue milestones, 400K+ teachers) backed by top education investors. Our platform helps teachers create differentiated, standards-aligned instructional materials in minutes instead of hours.
We're a small, high-impact-driven team of 4 full-time employees based in NYC, moving fast and shipping features that reach tens of thousands of teachers daily.
The RoleWe're looking for a meticulous frontend engineer who can translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces. You'll work directly with our designer (ex-CIA, Harvard) to rapidly iterate on growth experiments and ship features that directly impact teacher retention and activation.
This isn't a typical frontend role - you'll own the entire frontend experience for a platform with 60%+ week-4 retention and be responsible for A/B testing experiments that move core metrics.
What You'll DoDesign Implementation

Convert Figma designs to production code with extreme attention to detail (10px vs 15px matters)Growth Experiments

Ship A/B tests through Post Hog, implement feature flags, and iterate based on dataRapid Iteration

Work in tight cycles with our designer - design in morning, ship by EODComponent Development

Build and maintain our design system using Solid.js and TailwindPerformance

Ensure fast, responsive experiences across devices (many teachers use older Chromebooks)
Frontend
:
Solid.js (React alternative), Tailwind CSS, Type ScriptState Management

Zustand (preferred), React Query for data fetchingTools

Post Hog (analytics/A/B testing), Figma, PNPM monorepoInfrastructure

Vercel, NEON DB with branching
Strong frontend fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Type Script)
Experience with React or similar frameworks (we use Solid.js - easy to learn)
Obsessive attention to design details and spacing
Ability to work independently and ship fast
Comfortable with rapid iteration and experimentation
Experience with Solid.js, Zustand, or similar modern tools
A/B testing and growth experimentation background
Design system development experience
Education or impact-focused product experience
Familiarity with accessibility standards
