Project Architect - Multi-Family Residential

We are currently seeking a Project Architect for Studio One. Applicants must be strong designers with experience in multi-family residential work.

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture Degree
• 7-10 years experience
• Strong design ability and graphic presentation skills, knowledge of contemporary architecture
• Interest in design studies, digital modeling, research, and creative problem solving
• Experience working with affordable housing and developer clients; experience with HPD, HCR, and DCP preferred
• Excellent analytical and technical skills, including a knowledge of NYC zoning and building code, Construction Set development, and detailing
• Thorough knowledge of Passive House, NYSERDA, HPD BLDS
• Experience developing CD sets, including detailing ability and coordinating disciplines
• Proficiency in all phases of design and construction
• Ability to manage and mentor junior team members and coordinating consultants
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present ideas
• Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with 3d Studio Max, Enscape, and/or Rhino
• Authorization to work in the US and English fluency

Salary $80,000 -$115,000 commensurate with experience and skill level. Salaries are reviewed annually.
