Location: New York

We are a small, design-forward architecture studio working primarily on high-quality residential projects, with additional involvement in community-based work and art installations. We are seeking an Intermediate Architect with a strong design sensibility, excellent technical skills, and a desire to deepen their experience in construction documentation and filing processes.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative, creative studio environment.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to design concepts from schematic design through design development
  • Produce and coordinate construction documents under the guidance of senior staff
  • Assist with permit and filing submissions and agency coordination
  • Prepare drawings, models, and presentation materials
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal team members
  • Participate in client meetings and project discussions as appropriate
  • Take initiative in managing tasks, deadlines, and studio workflow
Qualifications
  • Professional degree in Architecture
  • 3–6 years of professional experience (residential experience preferred)
  • Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
  • Interest in mastering construction documentation and regulatory processes
  • Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
