We are a small, design-forward architecture studio working primarily on high-quality residential projects, with additional involvement in community-based work and art installations. We are seeking an Intermediate Architect with a strong design sensibility, excellent technical skills, and a desire to deepen their experience in construction documentation and filing processes.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative, creative studio environment.
Responsibilities- Contribute to design concepts from schematic design through design development
- Produce and coordinate construction documents under the guidance of senior staff
- Assist with permit and filing submissions and agency coordination
- Prepare drawings, models, and presentation materials
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal team members
- Participate in client meetings and project discussions as appropriate
- Take initiative in managing tasks, deadlines, and studio workflow
- Professional degree in Architecture
- 3–6 years of professional experience (residential experience preferred)
- Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong design sensibility with attention to detail
- Interest in mastering construction documentation and regulatory processes
- Highly motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Full-time, in-person position in our Financial District (FiDi) studio
- Intimate, design-forward and collaborative small studio with an experimental mindset
- Work across high-end residential architecture, community-based projects, and public art installations
