Product Development / Administrative Manager | Karl Lagerfeld Men’s

This role serves as a link between Design, Production, External Vendors/Mill and Sales/Merchandising, and provides administrative support for the SVP of Design. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of apparel construction, material sourcing, cost management, and development-to-production calendars. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities are essential.

Pay Range

$75,000–$85,000 per year

Responsibilities Product Development
  • Manage fabric sample yardage WIP جنيه reports daily and inform relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with the SVP of Design to outline product development needs.
  • Execute, update, and manage communication of all new fabric and color mini‑batch inquiries and distribute seasonal color palettes.
  • Coordinate with suppliers/vendors and overseas office on adopted materials, sample yardage guidelines, fabric detail sheets, traceability, and pattern copyrights.
  • Populate達 seasonal fabric cards for design boards.
  • Distribute confirmed seasonal color palettes internally, to the overseas office, and external supply chains.
  • Review all sample yardage cuttings against color standards and request lab‑dips for any inaccuracies.
  • Review invoices related to sample yardage development at season finale.
  • Maintain sample yardage binders and boards, track and log references, and manage color palette distribution.
Administrative
  • Manage the SVP of Design’s calendar and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel plans.
  • Process expense reports for the SVP of Design.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of apparel product development experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Preferable prior administrative experience (calendar TE, travel, expense reports).
  • Knowledge of garment construction.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with PLM is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective teamwork and multitasking ability.
  • Analytical and decision‑making skills.
