Senior Packaging Designer

Position Overview

The Senior Packaging Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing packaging across multiple beauty categories including skincare, body wash, hand soaps, hand sanitizers, and fragrance mists. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand storytelling, consumer trends, and the technical nuances of packaging design. The ideal candidate will balance creativity with practicality—creating designs that not only inspire but also meet cost, sustainability, and production requirements.

• Lead packaging design projects from concept through production across multiple beauty brands and categories.
• Develop innovative, trend-forward packaging solutions that reflect each brand’s DNA and resonate with consumers.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure packaging aligns with brand positioning, product functionality, and business goals.
• Partner with vendors and suppliers to explore materials, subsidiaries, and finishes that elevate packaging while maintaining feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage the full design process including dielines, mock‑ups, comps, artwork, and final production files.
• Ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and sustainability objectives.
• Mentor and provide design guidance to junior team members as needed.
• Stay up‑to‑date with design trends, packaging innovations, and competitive market activity to proactively bring fresh ideas.

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in packaging design, preferably within beauty, personal care, or CPG.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of packaging solutions that combine creativity, functionality, and brand strategy.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); 3D modeling/rendering skills a plus.
• Familiarity with production processes including printing, finishing, and sustainable packaging practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑brand environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts to stakeholders.
